That's why LOT offers many different entry points. They're all different, require different time commitments, approach different topics, but they all converge on one thing: developing YOUR leadership potential in meaningful ways.

Our Leadership Infusion Lecture Series
offers all engineering students a chance to learn leadership concepts through their regularly scheduled courses. In place of a regular class period, LOT leadership educators deliver a guest lecture. If you feel your class would benefit from one of our lectures, speak to your instructor!
Co-CurricularTake a certificate program
. LOT currently offers three certificate programs
. These are five-week long programs designed to enhance your skills and understanding of different aspects of leadership development. Student must apply here on our website to enroll (check the events calendar for deadlines). Upon successful completion of these programs, you will be awarded a co-curricular certificate that acknowledges your accomplishment. They are:
Certificate One: Team Skills
was offered this fall. Our Team Skills certificate program examines the intricacies of group dynamics and maximizing your leadership efficacy.
Certification Two: Leading from the Inside Out
will be offered in the winter term. This certificate program delves into self-knowledge and understanding as the bedrock of leadership.Certificate Three: Organizational Leadership
will be offered in the winter term. This certificate program is designed for students currently in executive positions in a student group and would like to enhance their skills to become more effective leaders.

Department and Division Working Groups
If you're looking for a way to meet new students from your department who, like you, want to practice their leadership skills and orchestrate exciting events, why not join your Department/Division LOT Working Group? How it works:
most Departments and Divisions have an LOT Working Group. These are made up of a group of students, a faculty advisor, and a staff advisor. The students plan and organize leadership-related events with the guidance and support of the Faculty. In the Working Groups, you get as much as you put in! Click here to learn more
