Research Opportunities

ILead strives to be at the forefront of engineering leadership education research. The Institute welcomes faculty members from all disciplines to connect with us to discuss opportunities for collaboration. We are particularly interested in reaching out to scholars in business, education, or the socials sciences interested in co-supervising graduate students on related thesis projects.

We currently have two funded research projects:
  1. Patricia Sheridan is a PhD student working on team skills pedagogy for engineering classes with a special interest in on-line methodologies for large classes.
  2. The second project is a study entitled “Leadership by Engineers in Business Enterprises -A Study of Best Practice in Leadership Education and Development” – we are currently seeking corporate partners for this project.
